Theme Days

We kicked off the new year with theme days Jan. 12-14. Students were divided into mixed-grade groups and visited different stations together. The theme was Astrid Lindgren and the children explored her world of adventure, books, characters and settings. They had the chance to whittle wood like Emil of Lönneberga, make braids and friendship bracelets like Pippi Longstocking, and play outside like Ronia the Robber's Daughter.

The theme days were a huge success, the planning went smoothly and students were upbeat and happy. Creative joy filled the school, as you can see on the walls.
