Melaskóli school orientation 2026

Melaskóli's school orientation will be held on Monday, Aug. 24.

The orientation will take place in the Skálinn hall at the old school building (Gamli skóli) and will begin with an address by the principal. Afterward, students will head to their homerooms. The orientation and homeroom time combined are expected to last about one hour.

9 a.m. — 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade

10 a.m. — 5th, 6th, and 7th grade

1 p.m. — 1st grade 

Parents are encouraged to accompany their children to the orientation and join them for homeroom time.
Please note that after-school programs will not be open this day.

New students in 2nd through 7th grade are warmly invited to visit the school on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m. They will be welcomed in the Skálinn hall at Gamli skóli.
